This month we will be watching The Carpetbaggers (1964) (PG) Based upon Harold Robbins’ 1961 bestselling novel, this movie showcases Alan Ladd’s final role. Also starring George Peppard and Carroll Baker. Jonas Cord is a disagreeable young tycoon who's building planes, directing films, and catting around on the corporate make in 1930s Hollywood.
