This month we will be watching "Written on the Wind" (1955). Dorothy Malone won an Oscar in this Douglas Sirk film based upon the roman à clef novel by Robert Wilder. With Rock Hudson, Lauren Bacall, Robert Stack. Alcoholic playboy Kyle Hadley marries the woman secretly loved by his poor but hard-working best friend, who in turn is pursued by Kyle's sister.
