Event Details
For the month of August we will be doing a double feature. Buster Keaton was one of the comedic greats of silent film. We will be starting with Sherlock Jr. about a movie projectionist who dreams himself into the movies themselves. Second, we will be watching the film largely considered Keaton's magnum opus, The General. This film finds a hapless Southern railroad engineer facing off against Union soldiers during the American Civil War. When the engineer's fiancée, Annabelle, is accidentally taken away while on a train stolen by Northern forces, he pursues the soldiers in a train of his own.
