Outreach to Head Start

Children ages 2 to 5 years of age are welcome for songs, stories and an easy craft.  

Are you interested in discussing ideas openly and honestly with others? Logan Library offers a discussion group called "Socrates Cafe". Join us as we pose questions and exchange our thoughts on subjects selected by the group.

Reserve a 3-hour slot in our Digital Media Lab.

Stop by our MakerStudio for a special open house event! We're celebrating our tenth anniversary with demonstrations of everything you can do and make in our makerspace. We'll have 3D printing demos, button making, virtual reality and more!

Join us for stories that will incorporate yoga poses and movement as we read. Please bring a yoga mat or towel. Ages 2-5.

Join trainer Sharron Bowen from FITMOMSJ for a total body 45-minute mommy and me workout made by mama athletes for every parent. Workout incorporates body weight, dumbbells, resistance bands and of course, our little ones!

Learn about optical illusions and make a fun Thaumatrope to take home.  This class will be run by High School Student, Malin Cortright and her classmates.  Be sure to register.

Mullica Hill Knitters & Stitchers Club. All skill levels are welcome to join. Please register since space may be limited.

Come try Zentangles, an art form where you create designs using simple strokes. At this class participants will create the Zentangle Daisy. This is a Longwood Gardens Community Read event.

Knit and Crochet Group

Get together and play American Mah Jonng with other novices at the library!  This is a friendly group, but some experience/knowledge of the game is a plus.  Please register, as we have limited sets.

 Continuation of the Robotics for Kids program series with Clearview Robotics team 9848 GearView! Ages 8 to 13, please register.

Reserve a 1 hour slot to experience virtual reality on our HTC Vive 2. Patrons must be 13 years of age or older to use the virtual reality equipment and complete a Maker Agreement.

 Paint a fairy house on a clay pot or make a garden gnome with a clay pot. This is a Longwood Gardens Community Read Event. Ages 6-12. Please register. 

 An elementary school program focused on pollinators. We will make a bee bath and a hummingbird feeder. This is a Longwood Gardens Community read Program.
